Walton Goggins
Visits Downright
Walton Goggins stopped by Downright in mid-November. He spent some time with us in our Brooklyn space, and did what we all end up doing when something is beautifully made — slowed down and got curious about the details.
Instead of a quick pass-through, he took his time with our pillows — feeling the differences, asking about fill, lifting a few to get a sense of weight and loft. He even put his head down on a couple right there. That kind of attention is rare, and we appreciated it. It turned into a real conversation — not just about pillows, but about rest and home.

The quiet part of luxury
Downright has always been about the things that don’t need to announce themselves. Quality you notice over time. Materials that feel right the moment you touch them, and still feel right years later.
A lot of that comes down to how — and where — things are made. We manufacture in the U.S. because we want to stay close to the work. Close enough to be picky. Close enough to know the hands behind it. It costs more and takes longer, but it means we can stand behind every stitch and every ounce of fill. That matters to us.
Walton connected to that immediately. We ended up in one of those conversations that starts with something simple — a pillow in your hands — and opens into what comfort really is when you get home at the end of the day.
A few moments from the visit
Here are a handful of small snapshots from the afternoon:

Thanks for stopping by
We’re grateful Walton took the time to visit, and for how genuinely interested he was in what we do. Downright is a Brooklyn company in the truest sense — rooted here, still making things carefully, still obsessed with the feel of the final thing in your home.
From our Brooklyn workshop straight to your home, our goal remains simple:
to elevate the way you sleep, every night.
