Environmentally Responsible Down Fill

Goose down is a natural, biodegradable fill that's sourced as a by-product of the food industry. With proper care, it lasts decades — making it a renewable, low-impact alternative to synthetic fibers.

Renewably & Ethically Sourced Cotton

Downright is proud to only use cotton derived from renewable and ethical sources, using sustainable production methods, through means that keep workers and the local community safe.

Sustainable Silks

For our finest duvet and linens, we source  fair-trade silk, a natural and sustainable filament fiber that is 100% biodegradable.

TENCEL® lyocell

Our Organa collection uses Tencel, a natural, renewable, and eco-friendly fiber made from wood pulp cellulose.

Recycled Down Alternative

Down alternative fibers made out of recycled bottles that have been spun into fluffy fibers that feel good while doing good.

RDS Certified Ethically Sourced Down

All Downright down is certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), an independent international certification attesting to our ethical treatment of geese and ducks as traced throughout our entire down and feather supply chain.

This certification guarantees that the down in your Downright bedding is sourced transparently and humanely, so you can rest easy knowing no live-plucking or force-feeding is involved.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

All Downright  fabrics are Oeko Tex certified safe from harmful substances.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. During testing, they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, ensuring components are fully safe to their independent and rigorous standards.

GOTS Organic Textile

Our Organa collection proudly uses organic cottons certified by the GOTS.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) defines a world-wide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS are a promise of standards upheld.

Global Recycled Standard

Our down alternative line is proudly certified sustainable by the Global Recycled Standard.

The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling.

We’re proud to have donated hundred of comforters to those in need through our partnership with Good360, a non-profit that identifies unmet needs within local communities across the country. Good360 distributes our comforters at local Brooklyn food pantries, providing much needed warmth and comfort to families in need.
